Novalac Diarinova is a specialised infant formula with special medical purposes, formulated to substitute regular infant formula during episodes of acute diarrhoea in children from birth to 3 years. It addresses the three key needs during diarrhoea in a single, complete formula. Its high electrolyte concentration of sodium, potassium, and chloride, combined with low osmolarity, helps effectively rehydrate the body during fluid loss. A high protein content alongside an optimal carbohydrate profile of maltodextrin, glucose, and fructose ensures the baby continues to receive adequate nutritional intake during illness. Optimal zinc content, combined with cream of rice and dietary fibres, helps improve stool consistency and reduce the severity and duration of diarrhoea. Supplemented with LC-PUFAs to continue supporting visual, cognitive, and immune system development.
